Our SOC Team is based in Bucharest, where Hanco SOC Technicians collaborate in a dynamic, high-tech environment. Regular
training sessions and team-building activities foster growth and camaraderie. While the core team operates out of Bucharest, we’re proud to have Hanco SOC Technicians located in other major cities across Romania, reflecting our flexible and inclusive approach.

Training for new platforms and roles is conducted through our online HancoCyber Academy, where all Hanco SOC Technicians complete structured courses designed to build their expertise. Successful completion of these courses is recognized with certificates and digital badges, which always make a strong addition to any CV.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and analyze security alerts from our SIEM, XTI, and VM platforms, ensuring timely detection of potential threats.
2. Conduct incident triage and response, identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating risks.
3. Collaborate on the deployment and management of MDR solutions, ensuring optimal performance across client environments.
4. Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to uncover and mitigate potential security gaps.
5. Support leading-edge patching initiatives, ensuring systems remain up-to-date and secure.
6. Provide in-depth forensic analysis to trace and remediate cyber intrusions.
7. Manage and resolve incidents via the HancoSupport ticketing platform, ensuring smooth communication with clients.
8. Generate detailed incident reports assisted by our internal HancoGPT and provide actionable intelligence to clients.

What You Bring

• A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat analysis, vulnerability management, and network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, VM solutions, and XTI technologies.
• Knowledge of endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools and MDR platforms.
• Experience in penetration testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Romanian language skills are a bonus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, OSCP, Google Cybersecurity Certificate) are advantageous.
